Climate Pledge Arena Wins ACEC Gold Award

We are proud to have received a National Finalist Gold Award from ACEC Washington State in the Structural Systems Category for Climate Pledge Arena. We provided structural and construction engineering services to Populous for the 800,000-square-foot arena, which opened in time for the NHL's 2021-2022 season. The arena renovation also featured a significant geotechnical challenge that required supporting the 44-million-pound landmark roof and excavating 680,000 cubic yards of soil to make way for the new below-grade venue.
